Battle of Fayetteville Commemorative planned Itinerary Saturday, April 20th, 2019. The event is free and the public is welcome.

10:00 a.m. Flag Presentation with honor guard, Proclamation by Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordon, cannon firing
10:30 a.m. Musket demonstration – Federal reenactors
11:00 a.m. Musket demonstration – Confederate reenactors
11:30 a.m. Artillery demonstration – 1 st Arkansas Mountain Artillery
12:00 p.m. Musket demonstration – Federal reenactors
12:30 p.m. Concert of Period Brass Band music – NWA Heritage Brass Ensemble
1:00 p.m. Program – Fayetteville in the Civil War and the Battle of Fayetteville – speaker TBA
1:30 p.m. Artillery demonstration - 1 st Arkansas Mountain Artillery
2:00 p.m. Musket demonstration – Confederate reenactors
2:30 p.m. Musket demonstration – Federal reenactors
3:00 p.m. Artillery demonstration - 1 st Arkansas Mountain Artillery
3:30 p.m. Program – Lt. Harrison (Robert Kroening) remembers followed by the reading of the names of those killed in the battle. This to be followed by a volley of musketry and the cannon followed by taps to conclude the program around 4 p.m.
Also during the day: Living historians will share with guests about camp life, the 1st Arkansas Union Calvary, civilian life in Fayetteville, Signup table for students to be
drilled with wooden rifles in either army. Music by the Holmes Brigade camp band.
Relic displays and Headquarters House open for tours.
