Frontier Days for Homeschools

  • 5 Oct 2018
  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Washington, Arkansas
This is a pre-1840 event with multiple stations for home school families and groups. Any demonstration or activity which gives students and parent educators a better understanding of the territorial days of Arkansas are welcomed. There is overnight camp space for any wanting to do an authentic camp that day or overnight.

We have activities planned that will include spinning, rug braiding, soap making, cooking, embroidering, and blacksmithing. We would love to add to this, especially with any manly skills.

To volunteer, email Leita Spears at Leita.spears@arkansas.gov
